assignment 01 - sketching the plan

The assignment is to develop a plan for a public space that is parametrically derived. The variations described herein document both local and global changes when variations are applied. Notable conditions / constraints exist in the following circumstances:

1. standard bay size of 10x5 (can be altered)
2. rotational circles located along the centerline of the bays (radii can be altered)
3. coincident point along the circles allowing them to become rotation tracks
4. rotation between all circles linked together by way of parallelism and uniform angles in relation to X
5. line geometry connects to fixed points along the bays and the transient interior rotational circles
6. as rotation occurs, the line geometry reconfigures in a close / open fashion
7. composite animation demonstrates larger scale variability when system is repeated
8. interesting design iterations emerge during this animation technique

some considerations:

"who am I within the software?"
to what extent can global variables (ie sun) can be used to alter this configuration?
how are sketches manipulated into the z-axis?
how can we copy geometric data without losing all the constraints?
how do we convert this lines into surfaces, or even into cutsheets? how do we export this geometry?
